Pupil Zone!

Eco Schools

Our Eco Schools project is run by Miss Marshall and Miss Payne.  The aim of this project is to raise awareness of the different ways that we can help to look after the environment and save energy.

The school now has an Eco-Team made up of pupils from all year groups.  This team meets regularly to discuss issues and raise awareness through assemblies.  This page will keep you up-to-date with their work.

Poster Competition

Key Stage One and Key Stage Two children were invited to create posters to raise awareness of Eco issues.  There were lots of great entries and these are now on display in our Eco area.

Miss Marshall and Miss Payne were very impressed with the high quality of all the posters.  It was good to see that these important messages were already being understood by the children!

Our Priorities:

We have been working hard, including after school, and have identified three areas for development that will help to make us a more sustainable school:

Mini-beast hotel competition:

Children were challenged to design a mini-beast hotel using recycled materials.  There were some very impressive entries!
